when it comes to synths a Lexicon works in greater number of situations for me than Eve. PCM sounds order of magnitude better.Įventide is of course a great option with its flexibility and host of algorithms, but i would still recommend going first with a PCM Lexi. many trancey lead presets in virus are processed with such combination using internal fx. this is how you get those larger than life wide halls. the algorithm was reverb routed into ping pong delay.

i haven't done trance music, but i did things like that with 201 and lexicon 300. drive the space echo hot but only have a little echo and spring reverb amount and mainly dry signal going in the following 224 that is on a plate or concert hall. isnt any reverb a trance reverb aslong you use too much of it?īeside that i liked a roland space echo as send processing for a lexicon 224.
